The broom handles are American grown and turned FSC-certified maple. The wire is from Parawire, the oldest wire company in the New York area. The nails are from Tremont Nails, an American company that has been making them for over 200 years. The linen cord is American made and waxed with fragrant, raw yellow beeswax. The broomcorn (not actually of the corn family, but rather a variety of sorghum), is grown and processed in North America. The fabric covers are made of luxurious natural fibers (cotton, linen, and wool) and many are hand dyed using natural dyestuffs and traditional methods. Each broom is made on a 1890s kick winder broom machine.
